Neoprene rubber (CR)

Neoprene rubber (CR) is resistant to atmospheric action, chemicals, and partially to petroleum products. It is used for production of gaskets, work surfaces and mats. With reference to high bearing strength, this rubber perfectly suits for coating and sealing of surfaces subject to high loads. Good weathering resistance. flame retarding, moderate resistance to petroleum-based fluids. CR has good aging characteristics in ozone and weather environments, along with abrasion and flex-cracking resistance.

Resistant to:  moderate chemicals and acids, ozone, oils, fats, greases, many oils, and solvents.

Doesn't have resistance to:  moderate chemicals and acids, ozone, oils, fats, greases, many oils, and solvents.

Dimensions of rubber sheets:

  • Thickness: 2-10 mm
  • Width: 1,200 mm
  • Length: 5,000/10,000 mm

Technical data:

  • Density: 1.5g/cm3
  • Hardness: 65 Sh
  • Tension resistance: 4 MPa
  • Relative elongation: 250%
