Adhesives for fireplace panels SkamoEnclosure HT

The SkamoEnclosure system’s additives are a pre-prepared mixture containing liquid glass and inorganic solvents. This adhesive is suitable for mounting vermiculite panels in fireplaces and tile stoves. It is ideal for bonding ducts and shafts where supporting columns and carbon panels are present. Additionally, it is suitable for levelling untreated panel surfaces or bonding connecting panels.

The adhesives are packaged in plastic bags.

Shelf life is a minimum of 12 months;

Storage temperature ranges from +5 ºC to +25 ºC

Used for bonding fireplace panels.

Usage instructions:

Before use, thoroughly mix or ‘knead’ the adhesive or knead the adhesive package.
Bonded surfaces must be clean, dry, free of dust, and grease-free.
Use adhesive at temperatures above +10 ºC.
Apply the adhesive to one of the surfaces using a notched trowel, and press the second surface with a light twisting motion, ensuring that the adhesive fills all possible gaps.
Maintain pressure on the surface for about three minutes. Wipe off excess adhesive with a trowel.
Depending on the material being glued, the adhesive consumption is between 1 to 1.8 kg/m2.
The drying time of the adhesive depends on the glued material, the environment, and the thickness of the adhesive layer, but on average, it is around 8 hours
